The Orton Effect

This is my first attempt at the Orton Effect. I originally took this picture with the light shining from behind because i wanted to capture the transparency of the petals. I realized later on that this was not the ideal way to capture an image slated for post processing to achieve the Orton Effect. Still the effect was slightly achieved. Below is the image after post-processing followed by the original image.
